The founder of Root & Rise Wellness. I'm a registered dietitian and yoga instructor with a passion for helping people simplify their wellness journeys. Since 2007, I've been guiding individuals to build healthier lives by focusing on practical, realistic strategies for nutrition, meal planning, and lifestyle choices.
My Background
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point with a Bachelor of Science degree in dietetics and completed my dietetic internship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. My career began as a nutrition program manager, where I oversaw the Meals on Wheels program and even hosted my own public access TV show in the early 2000s to educate the community on nutrition.
After this, I transitioned to working as a long-term care dietitian and later became a hospice dietitian. During my time as a long-term care dietitian, I also became a certified yoga instructor, blending my passion for nutrition and movement to help others achieve holistic wellness.
